is a board member of the All Hallows Foundation and is actively involved
with helping All Hallows High School. |

Len Elmore Len possesses over 14 yours of experience in education and higher education governance. He served as President and CEO of Test University (TestU) responsible for the overall strategic, operational and fiscal direction of the company. Len is the President of Pivot Productions, Inc. a New York-based media and advertising company. In 1992, Len founded Precept Sports & Entertainment, Inc., a sports management and marketing company. Len also serves as a Director on the Board of 1 800 Flowers.com and several non-profit organizations, including The NBA Retired Players Association, where he was elected President in 2005.
Lauded as "the Thinking Fan's Analyst", Len is in his 13th consecutive year
as a college basketball analyst for ESPN. An All-American basketball player
at the University of Maryland, 1971-74, he was a first round draft pick in
both the ABA and the NBA where he played professional basketball for ten
years. Len has written numerous articles and commentaries for National
Public Radio, the Knight Ridder News Service, The Sports Business Journal
and other prestigious media. He is also a coveted motivational and sports
issues speaker. |

Jack Kaiser Jack W. Kaiser (JW) was born in Brooklyn and attended St. John's Prep and St. John's College, graduating in 1949 after a stretch in the U.S. Army during World War II. He played basketball, baseball and soccer during his intercollegiate days for, among others, Joe Lapchick and Frank McGuire. He started his coaching career as varsity basketball mentor at Brooklyn Prep in 1950-51 while playing professional baseball in the Boston Red Sox chain. In 1952-53 he joined the St. John s athletic staff as freshman and assistant varsity coach in baseball and basketball, and advanced to the head coaching position in baseball for the 1956 season. He coached freshmen/junior basketball for 15
years and remained head baseball coach for 18 years before moving up to Director
of Athletics for the 1973-74 school year where he welcomed back an old classmate
Lou Carnesecca as head basketball coach. Kaiser served on many ECAC and NCAA
Committees and as a founder and officer for many conferences and leagues, most
notably the Big East Conference. Since his retirement in 1995, he has taken on a
consulting role with St. John's Athletics, the MIBA (sponsor of the NIT), and
with Sacred Heart University, when they moved from Division II and Division I in
the NCAA. |

Tom Kearns Tom Kearns is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and was coached by McGuire throughout his college basketball career. Tom was a member of the 1957 National Championship Basketball Team. From 1959 to 1969 he was an Account Executive for Merrill Lynch in Greensboro, NC. Between 1969 and 1972 he was a partner in Institutional Sales at R. Gilder & Co. Tom was a General Partner for Investment Banking at Bear Stearns & Co. from 1972 to 1987. Tom has
served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Board of Pharmakinetics
Labs; Biomet Inc.; FibroGen, Inc.; and as the Trustee of Endowment for the
University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Since 1999, Tom has served on the
Board of Directors of The Frank McGuire Foundation. |

Walter O'Hara Walter O 'Hara was born in the Bronx, New York and graduated from All Hallows High School. He graduated from Fordham College in 1959, after a 3-year stint in the U. S. Army. Walter coached the Hackly School JV Basketball team in 1958, and the St, Mary's Varsity team from 1959 to 1961. Walter built his career at Allen & Company from 1963 thru 1988, where he rose from Trainee to Managing Director and Executive Vice President. He was Chairman of the Board of All Hallows School in 1989, and was elected to the All Hallows Hall of Fame in 1995.
Walter is a Co-founder of the Curren Classic, the most successful one-day
basketball fund raiser in the annals of fund raising. Walter is a Co-founder of
the Frank McGuire Foundation and Vice President since 1997. | ||||||

Robbin Maffei-President She has a Bachelor of
Science degree in Athletic Administration and a Master’s Degree in
Sociology, both from St. John’s University. She coached cheerleading
at St. John’s under the leadership of Jack Kaiser as Athletic Director.
Robin is a PSIA Certified Ski Instructor and Ballroom/Latin Dance Teacher.
With over 30 years of healthcare administration and non-profit experience,
her leadership and organization skills, coupled with her natural enthusiasm
and commitment to the Foundation have earned her the position of President. |

Rudy Riska Rudy Riska, former Executive Director of The Heisman Memorial Trophy and former athletic director of The Downtown Athletic Club of NYC Inc., joined the Frank McGuire Foundation Board in 2007. He retired from the Downtown Athletic Club after 44 years of service following the conclusion of the 2004 Heisman Presentation. Following a tour of duty with the US Army Riska went on to play with The New York Yankees organization for four years and then began his career within the athletic department at The Downtown Athletic Club. He eventually went on to serve as Athletic Director of The Downtown Athletic Club. Riska also served as The Executive Director of the National Association of Club Athletic Directors of America. Riska maintains a strong
and constant rapport with several leading organizations within the community,
athletic and educational fields, including the Amateur Athletic Union, The
National Collegiate Athletic Directors, The Football Writers of America, The
College Sports Information Directors of America, The West Point Athletic
Association, and Notre Dame University Touchdown Club.
Riska remains Director Emeritus to The Heisman Foundation and its many
charitable youth programs. |

Bob Young Bob Young is a native New Yorker who was recruited by Coach Frank McGuire to attend the University of North Carolina. Bob graduated from UNC in 1957 and was a member of Coach McGuire's 1957 NCAA championship basketball team that defeated the University of Kansas in triple overtime. Bob spent 4 years in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves. His career has centered in the area of sales and marketing, primarily in the magazine publishing field. Bob spent 23 years with The New Yorker magazine where he was Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors. He is presently President of YMS Media Services, a private consulting firm. Bob is a longtime member of The New York Athletic Club where he has served on the Club's Board of Governors. | ||||||
